Concert – 13 June, with Chicago Consort
Join us in the historic Groote Kerk on the 13th of June when we host one of America’s premier student performing string ensembles, the Chicago Consort, for a evening of wonderful music!

The Chicago consert is under the direction of Patrick Connolly. They have toured the US, Canada, Europe, China, and South America. The students in the ensemble participate in various youth orchestras and frequently hold chairs in the Illinois All State Orchestra. Many members of the group have won numerous prizes in local, regional, national and international competitions.
One of the highlights of the evening will be when CTC joins forces with the Chicago Concert to perform two pieces: Christopher Tin’s “Iza Ngomso” with soloist Jason Atherton, and Leonard Cohen’s Alleluja.
