CTC Birthday Celebration! – 19 August

The Cape Town Camerata was founded in 1997 as the Pro Cantu Youth Choir. After moving to the city in 2012, and changing our name to Cape Town Youth Choir to reflect that change, we entered a new phase this year by again aligning our name with who we are – a choir whose members are still young but not “youth” anymore.

We would like to invite everyone to a birthday celebration concert on Saturday 19 August at the Gardens Presbyterian Church. The concert starts at 7.00pm.

Entrance is free (although donations to the choir will be appreciated!)

Parking is in the street, but we have organised a security company to patrol the parked vehicles.

Joining us in the concert is the St Charles Chamber Choir from KZN. They are conducted by Kristen Wepener, a former member of CTC.

(With the current strain of Covid doing the rounds, we remind concert-goers that they are welcome to wear masks during the performance.)
